I sold my first cards on Etsy Wednesday night, I was (and still am) pretty excited by the news. I took the cards to the printer yesterday, they should be done today, and off in the mail on Monday - one order from a complete stranger, and the second from my Mom.
It is nice to have your family to support you! :)
Yesterday I spent researching business licenses and taxes, today I am going to try to fill out said applications - keep your fingers crossed for me! :)

10,000 cups of tea
I have started the year with quite the cold (though it is my own fault, I kissed the boyfriend for New Year's, even saying that if I got sick it would be worth it!) lol....
Saturday we celebrated our second anniversary in Roslyn Washington, home of one of my favorite TV shows, Norther Exposure:
... And while I have spent most of the weekend in bed and blowing my nose, I did work on a few cards today! Check out my etsy shop!

More Christmas Cards!
My Christmas cards are done for the year! (I feel like I should be able to insert some leaping into the air here!)
I am also very excited to report that I am (or attempting to) sell the remaining cards on etsy!
I'm not sure how all of this is going to work out, but check out the cards, they turned out really well! :)

Weekend painting
I love Spring, Summer and Fall for the outside time - Saturday I hiked around in the Arboretum (and bought a few more plants on the way home!), and today we tried for a jog, hit up the Broadway Farmers Market, and then went out for a bike ride. We defiantly made the most of the fantastic weather this weekend, though all this fresh air has made me lethargic, and my bed is calling my name.
I wanted to show you this painting that I have been working on. Saturday inspiration struck and I have finally added a bit to the Koi:
Also I have to strike out the goal of making the Broadway local farmers market a weekend tradition, we hit up opening weekend and while there was some great looking produce, it was so expensive! We sadly walked away without buying anything, but came home to our first pea:
Anyway, Happy Mother's Day Mom (I haven't forgotten the tomato fertilizer info request, I will post it soon!), I hope you guys all had a great weekend!
