Week 8

Working on my wheel pose, saw the first sign of spring (around these parts that would be buds on my blueberry), and loved the flower and garden show.   Dinners consisted of salad or farro topped with my now favorite way to cook an egg (on the grill!), visited the dentist, and bought myself a keurig (coffee anytime - in my office!).
More fun things are planned for the weekend and 30 days to Ireland!

Week 7

Week 7 I played hunter and gatherer searching out warm gear for the upcoming trip to Ireland, hurt my foot while sprinting, and received fancy flowers for Valentine's Day!

Week 6

One of my goals for 2013 was to be thankful, I want to really appreciate all of the amazing things that I am going to get to do this year!
January taught me to be thankful for the weekends, time spent balancing life, basking in sunbeams during the work day, a nap on the couch in a sunbeam after a hard workout. 
Today I got to spend the afternoon with one of my girlfriends at a Chloe Neill book signing, the flower and garden show is coming up, more girl time, the start of marathon training, my next test, and in 43 days I will be headed to Ireland!

Week 5

I cleaned and reorganized this weekend, put away some of my sweaters in eager anticipation of spring.  Fit into pants I haven't been able to before, squat 145 pounds, and sprinting in cold weather - that will make you feel alive.  :)
Also - the best meal I have made in a long time - 10 minute farro (from Trader Joe's), tossed with a little butter and a lot of parsley.  Salt and pepper, topped with an egg, sunny side up.
Wow, so good!
